- 1 batch sushi rice
- 1 avocado
- 9 ounces crabmeat
- 1 cucumber
- 1 pack unseasoned nori
- Sesame seeds
- Prepare the batch of sushi rice.
- Fold your nori in half and lay one sheet on the bottom of your mat. Use your fingers to spread your sushi rice over the nori.
- Sprinkle the rice with sesame seeds then flip the roll over so that the rice is on your mat and the nori is face up.
- Along the bottom edge of your nori, place long strips of avocado and crabmeat.
- To roll, use your fingers to hold in the filling and your thumbs to roll the sushi.
- Once the rice has completely been rolled into a cylinder, give the mat a firm hug with your fingers so that the rice doesn’t fall apart when you cut it.
- Cut the roll gently and serve on a tray with soy sauce..
