To Disassemble:
- Detach plastic straw from base of silicone spout
- Do not remove silicone spout, it is not designed for removal
- Unlock lid and push button to open spout
Using Dishwasher for Lid and Plastic Bottle:
- Place plastic bottle and lid in small parts container on top rack
- Run through normal or sanitizing cycle as desired
- Detachable straw should be hand washed with straw brush or pipe cleaner for best results
- Do not use with essential oils, as this can damage the straw
- Let air dry completely before using again
- Do not put stainless steel bottles in dishwasher – hand wash only
To Hand Wash:
Use straw brush or pipe cleaner to thoroughly clean detachable plastic straw
- Do not use essential oils, as this can damage the straw
Use straw brush or pipe cleaner to gently clean crevasses of lid
Gently pull up on silicone spout to clean underneath rim and nozzle.
Do not remove the silicone spout, it is not designed for removal
Be careful and avoid tearing the silicone spout
- From underside of lid, use straw brush or pipe cleaner to clean inside straw hole
- Gently pull down on silicone straw holder and clean thoroughly with straw brush or pipe cleaner
- Thoroughly rinse lid and crevasses with warm water
- Use bleach mixture for a deeper cleaning 1-2 times per week
- Let soak for 15 minutes
- Remove from bleach solution and rinse thoroughly
- Hand wash bottle with soap and water
- Let air dry completely before using again
To Reassemble:
- Reattach straw into straw holder on underside of lid
- Close lid and screw back onto bottle
To Disassemble Lid:
- Gently separate silicone gasket from outer rim of lid
To Clean Lid:
- Wash lid and silicone gasket with soap and water, using water pressure to flush water behind slide portion of lid
- Place lid vertically in small parts container or top rack of the dishwasher
- For a deeper clean, soak lid and slider in hot water and bleach for 15 minutes
- Remove lid and slider from bleach solution and wash again with soap and water, using water pressure to flush water behind
- Rinse lid thoroughly
- Leave slider in open position unthreaded from body to air dry completely before using again
To Clean Tumbler:
- Wash with warm, soapy water, scrubbing with soft washcloth or sponge
- Do not use an abrasive pad, as this can scratch the finish of the tumbler
- Scrub down into bottom corners of tumbler, using dishwashing wand or bottle brush if necessary
- Dry completely before storing (air drying is recommended; when drying by hand, ensure no water remains in corners)
- For stubborn spots, gently clean with scrubbing sponge
To Reassemble Lid:
- Replace silicone gasket, flat side facing inward and grooved side facing outward
To Disassemble:
- Turn lid upside down on stable surface
- Using thumbs, press inward on two tabs to release slider
- Gently separate silicone gasket from outer rim of lid
To Clean Lid:
- Wash lid, slider and silicone gasket with soap and water or in small parts container in the dishwasher
- Soak lid and slider in hot water and bleach for 15 minutes
- Remove lid and slider from bleach solution and wash again with soap and water
- Rinse lid and slider thoroughly
- Let air dry completely before using again
