Kids love to get messy! It’s a fact! Well, I recently had an end of summer messy party. The kids were told it was okay to get a little messy...okay really it was encouraged. The kids had a ton of messy activities and foods, but one of the highlights of the party was decorating sugar cookies...messy-style of course!
I think the Zak Designs Paint Collection worked perfectly with the party. Plates, cups, and bowls that look like they are dripping with paint couldn’t be more appropriate for a messy party...don’t you think! The table was set (plastic table cloth to catch all the mess) and we created our own backdrop out of an old sheet and washable paint to look messy. Isn’t that centerpiece adorable too?
The tray was the perfect size to cart all the cookie decorating supplies to the party table. I’ve had smaller trays, but this one is large and fit all the goodies, but wasn’t too big to carry. I am going to share my frosting recipe with you...I just love the versatility of this frosting. I use it on cakes and cookies and it tastes just like a creamsicle.
