The Holidays start earlier every year. I started seeing decorations in stores as early as the beginning of October. Even before Thanksgiving it seems like the fall decorations are down and stores are decked out with Christmas music filling the air. I know in our family, as soon as the first snow of the year hit, the girls started talking about their Christmas lists. We decided that since it felt like Christmas outside we would get in the Holiday spirit with a fun lunch. We made edible wreaths. They are easy to make together or pack for a fun school lunch.

- 1 bagel, cut in half
- 2-1oz packages cream cheese
- 8 Cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 slices ham
- 1 Polly-o string cheese
- To make the sauce, heat olive oil over medium-low heat in a medium pot. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for a few minutes until garlic is fragrant. Add dried basil and thyme and a pinch of salt.
- Cut bagel in half and place on a plate
- Mix 2 drops of green food coloring into cream cheese (# of drops will vary depending on how bright you want the cream cheese to be)
- Cut tomatoes into halves
- Spread green cream cheese onto both halves of the bagel
- Place tomatoes on top of cream cheese
- Pull off two pieces of ‘string’ from the Polly-o string cheese
- Pinch ham in the middle and tie it with the string cheese to make the bow
- Place the ‘bow’ on top of your ‘wreath’
