April 9, 2014

Cold Shrimp Salad Recipe
April 2, 2014
From bland egg salad to goopy chicken salad, cold salads can get a bad rap at times. But this is an entirely different beast. Lightly poached shrimp mixed with lots of crunchy vegetables and spices and stirred with just enough mayonnaise to hold it together is a refreshing salad that can be served as a meal or an appetizer.
Fruit and Yogurt Cups Recipe
March 26, 2014
Fruit and yogurt sound like a perfectly healthy snack. But when you’re a kid, healthy is not exactly that enticing. My kids run from anything that looks remotely healthy. This time of year is filled with many food temptations and sweet treats, so getting kids to eat something that’s good for them is even trickier. Parmesan Peppercorn Popcorn Recipe

After the Oscars every year I always have a pretty good list of movies to watch. I try to always watch the best movie winner if I haven’t seen it (and I haven’t this year), but also I try to watch some of the smaller categories and focus on the award that that movie won.

All you need is a box mix, can of pumpkin, and some extra chocolate chips to make these 3 Ingredient Chocolate Muffins.
Cinnamon Glazed Almonds Recipe

Have you ever been to the mall or a store that is making fresh, hot cinnamon glazed almonds. The smell is intoxicating, but they are really expensive. My kids are always begging for them and we have bought them on occasion and they are divine. They really do taste as good as they smell!

If you didn’t know what time of the year it was and walked into a house where these cookies were baking, you would immediately know it was the holidays. The cookies are packed with delicious spices and molasses and just smell amazing as they bake.
Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing Recipe
December 17, 2013
I think this fruit salad was my favorite menu item at the Garden Party. It’s just so simple, but full of flavor. I love the colors of the fruit salad against the white serving tray and clear serving cups. They were probably the cutest thing on the table and everyone kept talking about how cute they were.
