Parmesan Peppercorn Popcorn Recipe
March 6, 2014
After the Oscars every year I always have a pretty good list of movies to watch. I try to always watch the best movie winner if I haven’t seen it (and I haven’t this year), but also I try to watch some of the smaller categories and focus on the award that that movie won.
Stovetop Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe
February 13, 2014
Spinach artichoke dip is one of my all-time favorite party dips. It has a ton of vegetables packed into it (healthy?), but is also incredibly addictive and delicious. There is a bunch of ways to make it and this just happens to be my favorite method at the moment.
Easy Chocolate Muffins Recipe
February 5, 2014
Most of the menu at this Garden party was savory, so I created one easy dessert. Really it’s a muffin and not a cupcake - one ingredient of which is a can of pumpkin. Yep, a can of pumpkin!? All you need is a box mix, can of pumpkin, and some extra chocolate chips to make these 3 Ingredient Chocolate Muffins.
Cinnamon Glazed Almonds Recipe
January 22, 2014
Have you ever been to the mall or a store that is making fresh, hot cinnamon glazed almonds. The smell is intoxicating, but they are really expensive. My kids are always begging for them and we have bought them on occasion and they are divine. They really do taste as good as they smell!

If you didn’t know what time of the year it was and walked into a house where these cookies were baking, you would immediately know it was the holidays. The cookies are packed with delicious spices and molasses and just smell amazing as they bake.
Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing Recipe
December 17, 2013
I think this fruit salad was my favorite menu item at the Garden Party. It’s just so simple, but full of flavor. I love the colors of the fruit salad against the white serving tray and clear serving cups. They were probably the cutest thing on the table and everyone kept talking about how cute they were.
Slow Cooker Carrot Cake Oatmeal Recipe
November 8, 2013
I have a love-hate relationship with breakfast. I love to eat it but hate to make it. These Carrot Cake Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oats have a lot going for them. First of all, they’re ready for you when you wake up. All you need to do is scoop them into a bowl and add any toppings that you like. And they’re a cinch to prepare the night before. I started them at 9:45 and was in bed by 10pm. You just throw everything into the slow cooker and you’re done. Breakfast cooks all night and you wake up to a hot, filling meal.
