Ever heard of the 8x8 rule? It means you should be drinking eight glasses of water each day, at eight ounces each. It's not right for everyone, though, so you should also consider factors like your size and the season, and:

Do you live somewhere hot, humid, dry, or at a high altitude?
Do you drink a lot of coffee and other caffeinated beverages?
Do you eat a lot of salty, spicy, or sugary foods?
Do you spend a lot of time under the sun or in heated rooms?
Do you exercise regularly?

Every time you answer "yes," that's another reason to drink more water. How many of these apply to you? Do you think you're hydrated enough?

If you really don't have time to exercise (or maybe you're just not motivated enough to clear your schedule—hey, we're not judging), there are plenty of ways to sneak a bite-sized workout into your daily routine.

On your commute: if you can walk or cycle to work, great! If you drive or take public transportation, you can work your core muscles by imagining you're trying to get your belly button and backbone to touch (maybe wait for a red light so you don't drive distracted). You can also get off a stop early or park in a less convenient spot to get a little extra walking into your day.

While you wait: for your order to arrive, for your table to be ready, for dinner to cook, for the shower to heat up—you're probably idle more than you realize. When you're at home, it's the perfect time for squats, sit-ups, or push-ups. For something more subtle, try calf raises (lift onto your toes and hold, then go back down).

When watching TV: watch your favorite show while you're on the treadmill, or sneak in a few exercises during commercial breaks (or between episodes, if you're streaming).
