Community Involvement

Zak Designs continues to foster a culture that believes in giving back to the community. Whether it’s seasonal pushes like Toys for Tots and Coats for Kids, or ongoing participation in events such as blood drives and food donations, Zak and our employees find ways to get involved. This local involvement also extends to national causes like the MS Walk and Relay for Life events.
Taking this involvement to the next level, in 2000, Zak organized and hosted the first Zak Miracle Classic golf tournament. Renamed the Zak! Celebrity Open, the tournament has become a highly anticipated event and recently made the transition into a celebrity golf tournament and auction whose proceeds benefit The Mark Rypien Foundation and YWCA Child and Youth Services. As of 2006, the tournament has raised more than $1 million for local charities.
Lending a helping hand locally, nationally or internationally remains an ongoing and rewarding commitment of the Zak team.
