- Do Zak Design products contain PVC, BPA and or Lead?
Each and every Zak product meets or exceeds all state, federal and international regulations regarding PVC, BPA and Lead contents and are unquestionably safe. Parents can be assured that any Zak children's product featuring artwork of today's most popular children's characters contains no BPA. - Why can't I microwave my melamine?
We recommend that melamine not be used in the microwave because of melamine's ability to retain heat. Melamine products that are microwaved can become extremely hot, which could be harmful to the product and the person handling it.
